Catherine joined HCLI as Head of Executive Development in January 2011. Prior to that Catherine held Practice Leader and General Management roles in Australia (Melbourne and Sydney) and Asia (Hong Kong, Singapore and Vietnam) with global HR consulting firm. Catherine has lead research to determine Best Employer organisations and Top Companies for Leaders. She also advised companies on their talent management and leadership development strategies and developed and delivered talent management and leadership development programs. Catherine introduced the Hewitt Academy for Strategic HR in Southeast Asia developing and facilitating programs in Strategic HR and Organisation Transformation. Previously Catherine worked in corporate Human Resources Development roles in Australasia and Europe, and her last corporate role was with American Express, where she led the Human Resources Development function for the European Operations business.

Catherine has lectured in strategic HR at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and at Monash University, Melbourne and is regular speaker in the areas of leadership effectiveness and employee engagement. Catherine is an accredited coach and is licensed to use a number of psychometric tools including MBTI, Lifestyles Inventory, Facet5. She is a master trainer in Situational Leadership and Change Management.

Catherine holds a Bachelor of Arts (Politics and English Literature) from Victoria University of Wellington (NZ) and an MA (HR Strategies) from London Guildhall University (UK).
