Engineers as LEADERS! contextualises leadership development for engineers. The programme was curated with the inputs of engineering industry experts themselves and authority entrusted to coach and develop engineers. The programme offers a multi-modal learning experience for maximum developmental impact.
Engineers as LEADERS! is a modular programme:
- Kickstart Self-Leadership Journey: 2 months before the programme
- 360 Leadership Assessment will be carried out by experienced Organisational Development consultants using a globally recognised, and research-based instrument.
- Module 1: 3 – 5 October 2017
3-Day Leadership Masterclass, facilitated by a distinguished professor with excellent industry experience in strategy, innovation and management. He brings with him more than 35 years of extensive research, consulting and teaching experiences from top institutions such as Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), California Institute of Technology (CalTech), Lockheed Martin and Medtronic.
- Module 2: Dates to be confirmed
2-Day "Frontiers of Engineering" Symposium, presented and facilitated by renowned global and local experts, and business leaders in a highly interactive setting. Together with the participants, they will scan the horizon, share insights and explore key trends and challenges that will inevitably impact the engineering industry and related businesses.
- Module 3: Dates to be confirmed
1-Day Communications & Influencing Experiential Workshop, facilitated and coached by seasoned communication experts and personalities. Participants will be immersed in a mock boardroom environment and confronted with the pressures of influencing upwards and downwards. Best practices in Communication and Influencing will be experienced.
